Many CV Writing companies in the UK use the term “fully qualified” but that term in our eyes generally carries no real meaning as there is no formal system in the UK to become a “qualified” CV Writer.

From our stand point to be either a “qualified” or “experienced” CV Writer you need to have many years of actual experience of producing CV’s across many different industry sectors and many different levels.

Lots of CV Writing companies use their CIPD registration as a formal qualification as a CV Writer, however the CIPD is designed for personnel managers, personnel officers and recruitment consultants and doesn’t contain any element that qualifies an idividual as a professional CV Writer.
