Door supervisors and door stewards, sometimes called bouncers, judge the suitability of people entering licensed premises and uphold security. They also maintain order and safeguard the well-being of customers on the premises. When working inside a venue they may be referred to as floor supervisors.

We have chosen this weeks career of the week for two main reasons, 1. It’s one of the most searched career qiestions on our website and it’s also coming up to June when the next crop of 16 years olds will be leaving school and wondering what to do next, and a career as a hairdresser is always one of the favourites.
